Every parent in the Upham community is a valued member of the PTO.  The PTO supports many of the educational and community programs that make Upham a unique learning environment. 


The members of the PTO, in their generosity, fund programs such as:


  • Community Service Initiatives 

  • Audio Visual Equipment 

  • All field trip costs, including buses, for all grades

  • Creative Arts and Science programs in every classroom

  • Professional development and curriculum support for teachers

  • iPads for the classroom

  • Sound Fields for teachers

  • New Sound System in the gym

  • Elkay Water Refilling Station

  • Community Building Programs (i.e. Field Day, Ice Cream Social, New Family Welcome Events, Variety Night, Invention Convention, Pizza Bingo, End of the Year Picnic, Guest Speakers)


A recommended contribution of $75 per child is suggested for the school year, but any amount is greatly appreciated. We strive for 100% participation from our families.
